The Ontario government is seeking advice on the recommendations contained in The Healthy Kids Strategy report, delivered by the Healthy Kids Panel in March 2013.

The Association of Canadian Advertisers will be involved in a series of consultations with the Ministry of Health and Long-Term Care this fall, along with key stakeholders from the food and beverage manufacturing, restaurant, food service, food retail, media, entertainment, advertising, marketing and telecommunications industries, as well as representatives from the healthy sector, consumers, parents and students.

The ACA is expected to provide input and insight on approaches to responsible advertising to children, as well as strengthen current efforts that are already in place.
