Using data from The Canadian Podcast Listener study – the largest and longest-running survey of podcast listeners in Canada – Jeff Ulster and Matt Hird will examine who Canadian podcast listeners are, how they listen to (or watch!) podcasts, how they discover new ones, and their attitudes and behaviours around podcast advertising.

In 2018, Jeff co-founded The Podcast Exchange (TPX), a podcast advertising sales company. From 2011-2017, Jeff served as Director of Digital Talk Content for CBC.
Matt Hird, Senior Redearch Director, Signal Hill Insights
Matt is a multi-platform analyst and storyteller, with experience guiding business and advertising strategies through data-driven insights. He is a Senior Researcher with Signal Hill Insights and specializes in marketing consulting, Advertising, content marketing, market research and strategic planning.
