• Two senior hires to strengthen ACA’s consulting capabilities
  • Patrick Hotte is new VP, Quebec, Christine Wilby Director, Membership and Business Development

Toronto, January 11, 2018: ACA is growing its senior team to deliver on Canadian marketers’ increasing demands for greater transparency, accountability and support in driving solutions for the industry.

Patrick Hotte, ACA’s new VP, Quebec and Christine Wilby, new Director, Membership and Business Development, will bolster ACA’s member services and help drive its initiatives.

Hotte is the former Senior Vice President, Brand Strategies and Integration for Havas Canada, where he provided senior leadership and management support to national brands such as Couche-Tard, Circle K, Hershey’s and Groupe Média TFO. He will leverage his deep roots in both Montreal and Toronto’s ad industries to ensure ACA’s Quebec member priorities are heard, understood and acted upon.

“After the sudden passing of Paul Hétu, we needed to ensure our new VP in Quebec could deliver the top-notch service our members have come to expect,” said Ron Lund, President and CEO, ACA. “Patrick has the intimate knowledge of the Quebec industry needed to continue driving our initiatives there.”

In addition to providing member services, Hotte will be an essential contributor to ACA’s growing consulting services around agency search, remuneration and contracts.

Christine Wilby takes on a new role at ACA. She will be focused on expanding ACA’s membership base to give Canadian client-marketers a larger platform to voice their concerns. She will be working with the ACA team to ensure the association’s value-added tools are well-received by the industry.

Christine is a respected marketing leader with over 20 years of consumer research, agency and client experience. Most recently, she was a senior marketer at Scotiabank, where she combined a strategic approach with emotive storytelling to build out powerful branded content programs.

“Patrick and Christine both share in ACA’s mission of bringing transparency and accountability to all media,” Lund said. “They’re strategic thinkers and creative problem solvers who will add great value to ACA’s membership.”
