- Tapscott Received the Award at the Strategy Awards on September 30 in Toronto
- Joining Prestigious List of Influential Canadian Marketers and Executives
Toronto, October 27, 2025 – Nicole Tapscott, a visionary commercial leader and trailblazer in community-driven brand building, has been awarded the prestigious 2025 Gold Medal Award by the Association of Canadian Advertisers (ACA). This distinguished award honors individuals who have made outstanding contributions to the advancement of marketing communications in Canada.
With a career spanning global institutions, direct-to-consumer disruptors, and high-growth Canadian brands, Tapscott has consistently been ahead of the curve in connecting people and ideas. Today, as Chief Commercial Officer of Knix, she leads one of the country’s most admired community-powered brands.
Tapscott’s career experience has been global and wide reaching. She helped design the World Economic Forum’s first public engagement platform—well before digital community-building became mainstream. At Casper, she pioneered influencer engagement strategies that reshaped direct-to-consumer marketing. At Mejuri, she helped empower women everywhere to “buy themselves the damn diamond,” building one of the most influential jewelry brands of the decade.
Across each chapter of her career, Tapscott’s leadership has been defined by her ability to merge sharp business acumen with human connection. She is widely admired for her relentless energy, her ability to drive growth, and her rare gift for elevating others—helping teams and individuals see their potential before they see it themselves.
“Nicole represents the very best of what modern marketing leadership looks like,” said Andrea Hunt, President & CEO of the Association of Canadian Advertisers. “She is a fearless innovator, a driver of commercial growth, and a leader who centers people in everything she builds. Her impact extends well beyond business results—she has redefined what it means to lead with both head and heart. We are proud to recognize Nicole with the 2025 ACA Gold Medal Award.”
“I am deeply honored to receive this recognition,” said Tapscott. “Marketing and brand building is about shaping culture, building community, and creating value that endures. I share this award with the incredible teams and communities I’ve had the privilege to work alongside. This is as much theirs as it is mine.”
Tapscott’s influence has extended far beyond the organizations she has led. She has been a mentor, a champion of inclusive leadership, and a model for how marketing can drive not only growth but also cultural and social impact.
The 2025 ACA Gold Medal Award was presented to Tapscott at the Strategy Awards on September 30 at The Arcadian Court in Toronto, where industry leaders gathered to celebrate her outstanding achievements and contributions to Canadian marketing.
