RECIPIENT WILL RECEIVE #ACAGOLDMEDAL JUNE 2 AT MARKETING AWARDS GALA

Toronto, March 1, 2016: The Association of Canadian Advertisers (ACA) today issued a call for nominations for the ACA Gold Medal Award. First presented in 1941, the ACA Gold Medal Award is the MarCom industry’s most prestigious honour, given to an individual who has made an outstanding contribution to the advancement of marketing communications in Canada. The deadline for submitting nominations for this year’s award is April 8, 2016.

“Throughout its 75-year history, the ACA Gold Medal Award has been presented to a rich and diverse group of leaders in our industry,” said Ron Lund, President and CEO of ACA. “I am excited to begin the process of adding another name to this illustrious list of past recipients.”

The ACA Gold Medal Award will be presented at the 2016 Marketing Awards gala on June 2, 2016 at The Carlu in Toronto.

The ACA Gold Medal Award is:

  • Open to all individuals in activities that have an impact on marketing communications in Canada (advertisers, agencies, media, researchers, academics, associations, etc.)
  • Awarded for a single achievement, or for accomplishments over time
  • Awarded to a candidate whose contribution represents a measurable, distinctive advancement in the practice of marketing communications in Canada
