Canadians have emerged from a once in a generation pandemic to find themselves in an inflationary environment with interest rates reaching higher than they have in a decade. To assess the current perspective of Canadians with regards to their personal finances and their perceptions of the economy, Corus’ 2023 Financial Study tracks data from 2019 & 2021 and assesses where we are today while identifying how and if it is materially different from where we have been. With a goal to identify acquisition opportunities, the study also looks at product adoption patterns as well as perceptions of Canadian banks and whether we feel that our money is safe with them.
