Or, Canadiens utilisant Twitter sont moins int\u00e9ress\u00e9s \u00e0 s\u2019exprimer en 280 caract\u00e8res qu\u2019\u00e0 lire les messages ou regarder les vid\u00e9os qu\u2019ils re\u00e7oivent. <\/p>\n<p>Selon Alyson Gausby, directrice de la recherche de Twitter, les utilisateurs de Twitter amateurs de t\u00e9l\u00e9 au Canada sont, dans une tr\u00e8s large mesure, des consommateurs combl\u00e9s plut\u00f4t que des cr\u00e9ateurs.<\/p>\n<p>Lors d\u2019un webinaire r\u00e9cent de l\u2019ACA, Mme Gausby a en effet pr\u00e9sent\u00e9 les faits saillants d\u2019une \u00e9tude sur l\u2019utilisation de Twitter par les Canadiens comme compl\u00e9ment \u00e0 la t\u00e9l\u00e9 conventionnelle ( ce qu\u2019on appelle comportement sur deuxi\u00e8me \u00e9cran). Ses conclusions sont fascinantes.<\/p>\n<table style=\"background-color:#f8f8f8\" class=\"sidebarTable\">\n<tbody>\n<tr>\n<td align=\"center\">\n<h3 style=\"color: #a3a510;font-weight: 600\">Vous voulez cr\u00e9er un contenu d\u2019accompagnement t\u00e9l\u00e9 sur Twitter?<\/h3>\n<p style=\"color: #a3a510\"><strong>Voici comment s\u2019y comportent les Canadiens, par cat\u00e9gorie&nbsp;:<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<tr>\n<td>\n<ul>\n<li><strong style=\"color: #a3a510\">Sports :<\/strong> lecture de commentaires sur l\u2019action \u00e0 mesure qu\u2019elle se d\u00e9roule, suivre les joueurs et les \u00e9quipes, suivre les analyses des experts, recherche des mots-clics au sujet de l\u2019\u00e9v\u00e9nement, visionner des faits saillants et des vid\u00e9os.<\/li>\n<li><strong style=\"color: #a3a510\">Remises de prix :<\/strong> lecture \u00e0 propos des gagnants en temps r\u00e9el, recherche des photos de l\u2019\u00e9v\u00e9nement, recherche des photos et du contenu sur l\u2019arriv\u00e9e des vedettes et sur les pr\u00e9paratifs de l\u2019\u00e9mission.<\/li>\n<li><strong style=\"color: #a3a510\">Programmation r\u00e9guli\u00e8re :<\/strong> recherche de suggestions (36 % utilisateurs ont regard\u00e9 une \u00e9mission recommand\u00e9e sur Twitter), recherche de contenus g\u00e9n\u00e9r\u00e9s par les t\u00e9l\u00e9spectateurs et de reportages sur le tournage, suivi du d\u00e9roulement pour s\u2019assurer de ne rien manquer du sc\u00e9nario. \u00c0 noter que ces comportements sont les m\u00eames qu\u2019il s\u2019agisse de com\u00e9dies, de fictions ou de t\u00e9l\u00e9 r\u00e9alit\u00e9.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n<p>Twitter a eu recours \u00e0 plateforme Fuse Insights pour sonder 1800 Canadiens dans une recherche \u00e0 la fois qualitative et quantitative. Ce sondage montre que trois-quarts des Canadiens, ce qui repr\u00e9sente environ 8 millions d\u2019utilisateurs, utilisent Twitter pour effectuer des recherches sur tout ce qui touche la t\u00e9l\u00e9. <\/p>\n<p>De plus, toujours selon Mme Gausby, ces Canadiens ont plut\u00f4t tendance \u00e0 chercher des \u00e9changes d\u00e9j\u00e0 en cours qu\u2019\u00e0 \u00e9mettre leurs propres tweets. L\u2019an dernier par exemple, il y a eu environ 300 000 tweets \u00e0 propos de la s\u00e9rie <em>The Bachelor<\/em>, alors que plus d\u2019un million de personnes ont effectu\u00e9 des recherches \u00e0 ce sujet.<\/p>\n<p>Ceci modifie subtilement la fa\u00e7on dont les marques envisagent la plateforme. Lors d\u2019une \u00e9mission ou de la retransmission d\u2019un \u00e9v\u00e9nement en direct (une remise de prix ou un \u00e9v\u00e9nement sportif par exemple), les gens en veulent tout simplement <em>plus<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p>Ils se connectent pour consulter l\u2019opinion d\u2019experts (pour les \u00e9missions sportives), pour suivre les stars, pour voir les r\u00e9actions de fans comme eux, et pour s\u2019assurer de ne manquer aucun rebondissement dans leurs \u00e9missions dramatiques pr\u00e9f\u00e9r\u00e9es.<\/p>\n<p>Les marques ont une occasion r\u00eav\u00e9e de se joindre aux conversations en s\u2019associant de fa\u00e7on divertissante et originale aux contenus que regardent les auditoires sur leur deuxi\u00e8me \u00e9cran. Mme Gauby a cit\u00e9 en exemple une campagne de Airbnb diffus\u00e9e pendant la remise des Oscars. La retransmission t\u00e9l\u00e9 de l\u2019\u00e9v\u00e9nement \u00e9tant commandit\u00e9e par une grande cha\u00eene h\u00f4teli\u00e8re, Airbnb ne pouvait recourir \u00e0 la t\u00e9l\u00e9 conventionnelle pour s\u2019adresser aux consommateurs. Plut\u00f4t que de rester muette \u00e0 propos de cet important sujet de conversation, la marque a utilis\u00e9 Twitter pour demander aux gens dans quel d\u00e9cor ou dans quelle sc\u00e8ne de cin\u00e9ma ils voudraient habiter. Des milliers de cin\u00e9philes ont r\u00e9pondu \u00e0 l\u2019appel, utilisant le mot-clic #LiveInTheMovies pour tweeter et retweeter leurs fantasmes qui allaient des profondeurs sous-marines de <em>La petite sir\u00e8ne<\/em>, aux paysages extraterrestres de <em>The Martian<\/em>, en passant par le voilier pr\u00e9f\u00e9r\u00e9 de Bill Murray. <\/p>\n<p>\u00c0 chaque fois, Airbnb r\u00e9pondait \u00e0 l\u2019\u00e9metteur du tweet en proposant un h\u00e9bergement appropri\u00e9 \u00e0 son r\u00eave accompagn\u00e9 d\u2019un bon de rabais, au cas o\u00f9 cette personne serait int\u00e9ress\u00e9e \u00e0 faire une r\u00e9servation. Arianna Huffington, Google et m\u00eame les grands studios de cin\u00e9ma ont embarqu\u00e9 et la plupart des articles sur l\u2019initiative mentionnaient Airbnb. R\u00e9sultat : la perception de la marque s\u2019est am\u00e9lior\u00e9e de 10 % \u00e0 la suite de la promotion. Celle-ci a bien fonctionn\u00e9e, expliquait Mme Gausby, parce qu\u2019elle a sur s\u2019ins\u00e9rer dans la trame narrative de l\u2019\u00e9v\u00e9nement et offrir un autre degr\u00e9 de plaisir aux consommateurs.
