A&#038;W a \u00e9galement \u00e9t\u00e9 la premi\u00e8re cha\u00eene \u00e0 servir du poulet \u00e9lev\u00e9 sans antibiotiques, des \u0153ufs provenant de poules nourries avec de la moul\u00e9e sans sous-produits animaux et biologique ainsi que du caf\u00e9 \u00e9quitable. La cha\u00eene a \u00e9largi sa garantie sur ses ingr\u00e9dients en commen\u00e7ant \u00e0 servir en juillet 2017 sa c\u00e9l\u00e8bre Root Beer\u00ae A&#038;W fabriqu\u00e9e \u00e0 partir de sucre de canne et des saveurs enti\u00e8rement naturels. Sa plus r\u00e9cente initiative a \u00e9t\u00e9 le lancement de son \u00ab Burger Beyond Meat \u00bb en juillet 2018, ce qui en a fait la premi\u00e8re cha\u00eene nationale de burgers au pays \u00e0 offrir un burger 100 % v\u00e9g\u00e9tal.<\/p>\n<p>Cet engagement se r\u00e9sume dans son \u00e9nonc\u00e9 de mission : <strong>\u00ab Nous voulons \u00eatre aim\u00e9s pour nos aliments savoureux, pratiques et contenant des ingr\u00e9dients naturels. Nous voulons \u00eatre reconnus pour avoir pris les bonnes d\u00e9cisions. C\u2019est ce qui fera d\u2019A&#038;W le choix no 1 des mill\u00e9niaux amateurs de hamburgers. \u00bb<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>A&#038;W est dirig\u00e9e par Susan Senecal qui s\u2019est jointe \u00e0 la cha\u00eene en 1992 en tant que directrice de territoire. Elle y a occup\u00e9 diverses fonctions dans plusieurs services, dont celle de cheffe des services marketing, avant de devenir en f\u00e9vrier 2018, la cinqui\u00e8me cheffe de la direction en 62 ans d\u2019existence de l\u2019entreprise.<\/p>\n<p>On ne remporte cependant pas un tel succ\u00e8s en travaillant seul. C\u2019est l\u00e0 qu\u2019entre en sc\u00e8ne Tom Newitt, l\u2019autre moiti\u00e9 de ce duo dynamique. Il s\u2019est joint \u00e0 A&#038;W en 2012, au moment o\u00f9 s\u2019amor\u00e7ait son virage strat\u00e9gique. Lui et son \u00e9quipe de communications et de marketing ont r\u00e9ussi \u00e0 repositionner l\u2019entreprise comme le chef de file des aliments naturels et savoureux aupr\u00e8s des amateurs de burgers canadiens. <\/p>\n<p>Cette strat\u00e9gie novatrice et cette d\u00e9termination ont entra\u00een\u00e9 des r\u00e9sultats d\u2019affaires probants.
