Paul Lavoie, Co-founder, Chairman and CCO of creative agency Taxi, has won countless awards for his creative work, and now the 2015 ACA Gold Medal Award<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Those who know him say that despite all his milestones, there\u2019s no dampening his desire for new challenges.<\/p>\n

\u201cLifetime achievements, they suggest some sort of finality,\u201d says Jane Hope, Lavoie\u2019s wife and co-founder of Taxi. \u201cBut I think Paul\u2019s lifetime of achievements is certainly far from over.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cHe has a big appetite for life,\u201d she adds. \u201cHe wakes up every morning with a smile because every day is a new challenge.\u201d<\/p>\n

Whether that challenge is expanding his agency into a global powerhouse, or raising the profile of Canada\u2019s advertising community, as he did in 1994, co-creating \u201cCanada Cannes,\u201d a campaign to garner more recognition for Canadian creative, Lavoie simply does not accept the status quo.<\/p>\n

\u201cHe is a change agent,\u201d Hope says.<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019ve had the great benefit of working with Paul both as a client and as a business partner,\u201d adds Rob Guenette, President and CEO of Taxi. \u201cOne of the main benefits is\u2026 Paul rejects that there is an easy solution.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt is all about challenging the convention\u2026 and just plowing through a ton of stuff to get to a better solution.\u201d<\/p>\n
