Toronto, May 30, 202<\/strong>5 \u2013 Members of the Alliance of Canadian Cinema, Television and Radio Artists (ACTRA) and the board of the Association of Canadian Advertisers (ACA) have ratified a one-year extension of the National Commercial Agreement (NCA) which will be in effect from June 1, 2025, to May 31, 2026<\/strong>. Extending the agreement provides certainty on terms and conditions and allows those advertisers who wish to use ACTRA talent with a framework to do so.
\nThe agreement comes with an increase of 3% and a commitment for ACA and ACTRA to work collaboratively together to share information, discuss developments and address matters related to the use of AI in commercials.<\/p>\n

The NCA establishes the terms and conditions for on-and-off-camera performers engaged in English-language commercial production<\/strong>. Click here to read the agreement<\/a>.<\/p>\n
