December 23, 2019: It has been three years since the CRTC decision to eliminate simultaneous substitution during the Super Bowl was put into motion. In that time, the ACA lobbied the CRTC, the Minister of Heritage, the Federal Court, and finally intervened on behalf of the NFL before the the Supreme Court of Canada.

We are pleased to announce that as a result of ACA’s actions, the Supreme Court ruled in our favour on December 19, 2019, quashing the CRTC order. Canadian Advertisers will, once again, be able to showcase their Canadian commercials during the Superbowl.
