The BrandSpark Canadian Shopper Study continues to clearly show that Canadian shoppers like to try new products, particularly from brands they trust the most, and are always on the lookout for great value. However, there are some important elements that have changed within each of these areas the last few years that are important for Canadian marketers to understand – and react to. Namely, Canadian shoppers are showing a declining interest in actively seeking new and different products out; recommendations from other shoppers are having increasing influence on what they are likely to buy; and while they still want value, they are showing less willingness to work to get it.
