Description

In many ways, marketers are the boots on the ground for businesses navigating uncertainty, change and shifting consumer demands. They uncover unfilled markets, innovate with new products and when they are successful, they drive job creation. Good advertising builds business, but great advertising builds factories.

But we live in an uncertain time. NAFTA and trade renegotiations have added an extra layer of uncertainty to the future of business.

As Canada, Mexico and the U.S. take the table in continued rounds of high stakes negotiations, the ACA is pleased to welcome retired Lieutenant-General, the Honourable Andrew Leslie, Parliamentary Secretary to the Minister of Foreign Affairs (Canada-U.S. Relations), to discuss what it all means for the advertising community.

A key player at the NAFTA table, Gen. Leslie will share his insights on managing that mass-scale transformation replete with competing interests, dig into how Canada is safeguarding itself against the changing tides, and discuss what marketers and businesses need to prepare for today.
