Brian joined Aviso Wealth in the fall of 2018. As Chief Marketing Officer he is accountable for brand, marketing, and corporate communications as well as digital marketing and user experience for all of Aviso Wealth’s lines of business, including online brokerage and digital wealth, asset management, correspondent and institutional, and dealer services. Brian has over 25 years’ experience in the financial services industry. Prior to joining Aviso Wealth, he held executive and senior management roles with some of Canada’s leading wealth management firms. Brian is a recipient of the Chartered Marketer professional designation granted by the Canadian Marketing Association and holds a BA from the University of Toronto.
Evan Wood, Executive Vice President & Practice Lead, Financial Service, Environics Analytics
Evan is a senior executive with 30 years of experience in client management, business strategy, marketing analytics and operations. Evan leads the Financial Services practice area and works with Environics Analytics’ (EA) clients and strategic partners to help solve their key business challenges with data-driven consumer insight and location intelligence. This includes leveraging clients’ first-party data in combination with EA’s databases (including big data) to better understand and profile customers, quantify the market potential, locate high-value prospects and activate the insights across the enterprise, including in digital and traditional media. Prior to Environics Analytics, Evan held senior roles worked in a variety of professional environments, from Fortune 500 companies to start-ups. He is bilingual (English/French), has an MBA from Thunderbird/ASU and undergraduate degree in Political Science from Queens University.
Joanna Mcfarlane, VP, Media and Analytics
Joanna is a seasoned data-driven marketer, heading up King Ursa as VP of Media & Analytics and overseeing the media, analytics and data science teams. She believes that the most effective advertising is grounded in data, and uses her background in data collection, governance and optimization to help inform on business decisions and creative work for her partners.
