March 17, 2015: The Association of Canadian Advertisers (ACA) has just released a brand new publication, Searching for a Marketing Communications Agency Partner: A Guidebook for Marketers on Agency Searches. The publication covers the entire search process from beginning to end, including how marketers can determine whether they need to start an agency search in the first place.

Commissioned by ACA, the book was written by agency search consultant Stephan Argent, Principle & CEO of The Argedia Group. Argent and Vice-President, Member Services at ACA, Susan Charles, sought to address the complexities that a modern-day agency search entails. In today’s marketing landscape MarCom needs are very specialized and constantly evolving. With that comes a complex matrix of agency relationships. This guidebook focuses on industry best practices that marketers can put into practice when looking for a MarCom agency partner that will satisfy their current and future needs.

“With the guidelines in the publication, marketers can develop customized processes to find a long lasting relationship that includes the essential elements of talent, trust and transparency,” said Charles.
